The 2022 World Cup held in Qatar has been concluded with Argentina winning it for the third time after defeating France 4-2 on penalties, following a 3-3 draw after extra time.

Qatar, Ecuador, Wales, Iran, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Tunisia, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Costa Rica, Serbia, Cameroon, Ghana, and Uruguay, who are all countries that failed to make it out of the group stage will get $9 million each.

Countries that made it through the round of 16; the USA, Senegal, Australia, Poland, Spain, Japan, Switzerland, and South Korea, will get $13 million each.

Countries that reached the quarterfinals -Brazil, Netherlands, Portugal, and England will get $17 million each.

Morocco will get $25 million for coming fourth in the tournament, while Croatia will be given $27 million after winning the third-place match.

France will get $30 million as runner-up of the tournament. The winner of the World Cup, Argentina, will be getting $42 million.
