Chelsea’s new signing, Wesley Fofana was forced off a friendly with Brentford on Tuesday, December 20, after suffering a knee injury.
Fofana, who is Chelsea’s summer signing from Leicester, has been out of action since October due to injury but had been close to a comeback.
Si Phillips reported that the defender who couldn’t finish the behind-closed-doors friendly against Brentford due to a knee injury, will now undergo tests to determine the severity of the injury and his new club will be hoping he is not side-lined for long.
Since being signed for a record fee of £75 million, Wesley Fofana has only managed two Premier League appearances so far for London-based club, Chelsea.
