Fabregas Weeps Over Death Of Arsenal Former Chief Scout Steve Rowley

Cesc Fabregas has lamented the tragic passing of former Arsenal Chief Scout, Steve Rowley.
The former midfielder was one of the many footballers connected with Arsenal, who paid tribute to Rowley.

It was confirmed on Sunday that Rowley has sadly passed away, aged just 63. He passed on after a short illness.

The former Chief Scout was credited with discovering a string of Arsenal legends.

Apart from Fabregas, Rowley also discovered the likes of Tony Adams, Ray Parlour and Robin van Persie.

“What a sad day it is,” Fabregas tweeted.

“A great man has left us, a true Arsenal legend. I don’t know where I would be today if you didn’t manage to convince Arsene to sign me as a 16 years old.

“I will never forget your advice and the confidence you gave me everyday. You will be greatly missed,” he said.
