Davido shuns Asake, Seyi Vibez, names his favourite for Headies Next Rated Award

Top Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has tipped rapper Odumodublvck to win the Next Rated category of the 2023 Headies Awards ahead of raving singers, Asake and Seyi Vibez.

Odumodublvck recently gained prominence after his sensational hit ‘Declan Rice’ went viral.

Asake and Seyi Vibez, on the other hand, have been dominating the Nigerian music industry since their debut projects last year.

Although the organisers are yet to announce the nominees for the 2023 Headies Awards, Davido endorsed the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner to win the usually coveted category for best newcomer.

The OBO Crooner gave the endorsement during a video chat with Odumodublvck, which the rapper shared on his social media page recently.

Davido said;

“I am proud of you. That [Headies] Next Rated na you go collect am.

“By the time OBO don enter…By the time 001 don enter the matter [laughs].”
