Chelsea Qualify For Club World Cup Final After Beating Al Hilal

Chelsea have qualified for the Club World Cup final, thanks to a 1-0 win over Al Hilal on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.
Romelu Lukaku scored the only goal of the game in the first half.

The Belgium striker finished off Kai Havertz’s goal, his ninth strike of the season for the Blues.

Al-Hilal, who are the winners of last season’s AFC Champions League, pushed for an equaliser in the second half as Chelsea lost control of the game, but failed to hit the target.

Thomas Tuchel’s men will now take on Brazilian side Palmeiras for the trophy on Saturday.

Last season’s Copa Libertadores winners are now the only thing standing between Chelsea and becoming world champions for the first time.

The Club World Cup is the only trophy Chelsea have not lifted since Roman Abramovich took ownership of the west London club in 2003.
