Celebrity auto dealer, IVD apprehended by police days after wife’s demise

Celebrity Auto-dealer, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna has been apprehended by the police force for the death of his wife, Bimbo.

This was announced by the Spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyi, who revealed the latest development on Monday evening.

According to the Police officer, IVD has been arrested, contrary to claims by family and friends that he is on the run.

He added that the Lagos auto dealer has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.

He said: “Contrary to claims by family and friends that 37-year-old Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD is on the run, he has been arrested and transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Yaba.”

The couple made headlines on Saturday 15th, October 2022, after it was reported that Bimbo had incarcerate herself in her home.

She later died early hours of Saturday morning and ever since her husband has been on the run.
