This comes after he revealed that American singer, Toni Braxton gets 60 percent of earnings from the song.
Burna Boy made this known during his latest interview with the Million Dollar Worth of Game podcast, aired on Sunday, July 3rd. He disclosed that it was his idea to sample her song.
The track, produced by Chopstix, features a sample of Toni Braxton’s 2000 R&B hit, “He Wasn’t Man Enough”.

Speaking further, he just wanted to use that sample and he knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it.

He said:

“It was actually my idea to be honest. I just wanted to use that sample and I knew Chopstix could do something crazy with it. I just pointed that shit out and he took it from there. That’s one of the most creative processes ever.

But she is taking 60 percent of the shit. I’m not complaining. Hopefully, she even comes out to one of the shows”.

His new revelation has caused a stir online especially on Twitter as many complained that her percentage was on a high side and he is so desperate for a global hit song.

Burna said Toni Braxton gets 60% of Last Last Royalties cos of the sample. Atlantic definitely gets at least 30 – 35% of the Royalties cos of the heavy promo & playlists they gave the song, leaving Burna’s earnings at less than 10%. The desperation to get a Global hit
