Nigerians have continued to drag popular singer and Grammy Awards winner, Burna Boy, over the Cubana club shooting incidence.
NaijaLoaded earlier reported that Burna Boy allegedly ordered his boys and police escorts to shoot at a club after the married woman he approached turned him down.
The woman took to social media to share her own story and call out Cubana as well for refusing to share CCTV footage of the night as well as continuing with business as if nothing happened.
According to the woman who is now nursing her husband who was shot in the thigh by Burna Boy’s people after she turned him down and told him she was out with her husband, Burna boy was laughing at them as his boys opened fire.
Reacting to her revelation, Twitter influencer, Pooja wrote, “Police should launch a full investigation into the Burna boy‘s gun incident inside Cubana club. Cubana didn’t even released a statement, no CCTV footage & business continued without investigation? Gun incident with victims can’t be swept under the carpet just like that.” He added, “The lady that Burna Boy approached has shared her story, police should take it up, and invite Burna Boy & his friends with guns for their part, Cubana club should provide CCTV & justice must be served. You can’t enter a club & be shooting like GTA.”
DJ Switch wrote, “Burnaboy, our youths have very little to look up to & emulate. As an African giant, you wield power & influence & so ur attitude towards the incident is sad & condemnable. We must act better to deserve better. The police shld investigate thoroughly (if they are capable)”
One Big Derah wrote, “What Burnaboy did to that married woman is unreal and so traumatizing.. wtf I hope she’s okay. Burna needs to pay for his crime one way or the other… this ain’t even about bants… Justice needs to be served. African Giant my foot.”
