Basketmouth has shared the backstory on how he and his team created his new single ‘Your Body‘.
In this story, Duktor Sett, a young talented producer, played a key role in creating the song. Recall that he also takes credits for Basketmouth’s rave album ‘Yabasi’.
Another key player is ‘Buju’, rave act and fast riser. He has graced music fans with several hit releases.
‘So sometime in January, Duktor Sett made a beat that he hated,” Basket said. However, he (Basketmouth) liked the beat and kept trying to get Mr Sett to see some potential in the beat.
He asked Sett to increase the tempo of the beat, maybe that could work. But Duktor Sett was reluctant to do so.
Meanwhile, Buju came around when the beat was on and started vibing to it and that was how ‘Your Body’ came to life.
The song, since it’s release, has made good numbers and could also top some charts.
