Popular Afropop star, Asake has spoken out on why Yoruba language is an essential part of his music and why he mostly sings in the language.
In a recent interview with NewsLive Prime, the ‘Terminator’ crooner explained that Yoruba language is very important to him.
He said that a lot of people who listen to his songs understand the language.
Asake also added that he believes that music goes beyond the lyrics and for him, it is the feeling it evokes that matters.
He said:
“Yoruba is so important to me. To me the away I understand music is that it is a feeling.”
