Arsenal will face Ajax, Real Madrid take on Rosenborg and Paris Saint-Germain are to meet BK Hacken among the round two ties in qualifying for the 2022/23 Women’s Champions League group stage.
15 winners from the first round mini-tournaments, including Real Madrid – who knocked out Manchester City for the second year running – Juventus and Rangers, have been joined by nine clubs handed a bye to the second stage of qualifying – including Arsenal, PSG and Bayern Munich.
The draw is still split between the ‘Champions Path’ for clubs who won their respective domestic league last season, and the ‘League Path’ for those who took additional Champions League qualifying places in UEFA’s higher ranked domestic competitions – like the WSL.
The split ensures that well over half of the teams in the group stage will be actual ‘champions’.

These qualifying ties will be played over two legs on 20/21 September 28/29 September.
The 12 winners from this stage of the competition will advance to the group stage, where Lyon, Barcelona, Chelsea and Wolfsburg already wait.
UEFA will perform the group stage draw on 3 October, with matchday one to follow on 19/20 October and the phase to conclude with matchday six on 21/22 December.
The 2023 Women’s Champions League final will be at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven on 3 or 4 June.
