Appoint Pochettino As Next Manager – Mark Hughes Advises Man Utd

Manchester United legend, Mark Hughes, has urged the Red Devils to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their next manager immediately because the Paris Saint-Germain head coach has dined with legendary Red Devils boss, Sir Alex Ferguson in the past.
Man United are currently looking for a new manager after sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday following their embarrassing Premier League 4-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday.

The Old Trafford club sacked Solskjaer and appointed Michael Carrick to temporarily take charge of the first team.

“I think for a long time United have coveted Pochettino,” Hughes told talkSPORT.

“I think they have wined and dined him, I think he’s been out with Sir Alex. I think that was well documented a few years ago.

“I think he’s well thought of within the corridors of United, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the one they really want.

“Whether or not he’s able to come to the club quickly, that’s an issue for them.

“In terms of resources, to be able to get a top manager out of a top club, clearly United are one of the few clubs that are able to do that.

“I think if he’s the man, they should just go out and go get him. This interim to interim position doesn’t seem to be the right way to go about it.

“But clearly, if they have to wait, they seem prepared to do that. I just feel it’s Pochettino that they really, really want.”
