Sowore said police officers got their salaries raised because protesters fought for them.
Publisher and Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore has called out men of the Nigeria Police.
According to him, the EndSARS protest influenced the Federal Executive Council’s decision to increase the salaries of Nigeria Police Force personnel, yet this same police they are fighting for harassing them on a daily basis.
On Wednesday, December 15, FEC approved a 20% increase for police officers.
Reacting to this development, Sowore said police officers got their salaries raised because protesters fought for them. He said despite their help, policemen still ”assault peaceful protesters.”
