Sylvester Stallone’s wife, Jennifer Flavin, has filed for divorce, Page Six can confirm.
The former model, 54, filed paperwork to dissolve her 25-year marriage to the “Rocky” star, 76, in Palm Beach County, Fla., on Aug. 19.
Four days later, Stallone made headlines for covering a large tattoo of Flavin’s face on his shoulder.
The actor replaced the tribute with ink of Butkus, the famous bullmastiff from the “Rocky” movies.
Tattoo artist Zach Perez showed the cover-up in an Aug. 16 Instagram post.
“Greatest day in my tattoo career!!” he gushed. “Thank you for trusting me with your tattoo today @officialslystallone.”
After many fans commented on the social media upload to ask whether Flavin minded the shady move, Perez deleted the slideshow from his feed.
Stallone’s publicist, Michelle Bega, subsequently told the Daily Mail that the Oscar nominee “loves his family” and explained away the updated tattoo.
“Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife, Jennifer. However, the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable,” she told the newspaper. “As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from ‘Rocky,’ Butkus.”
But Flavin previously raised eyebrows when she posted a picture of herself hugging her three daughters with Stallone: Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
“These girls are my priority ❤️ nothing else matters,” the businesswoman, who notably no longer follows the “Creed” star on Instagram, captioned the Aug. 10 snap. “The 4 of us forever.”
Sistine commented, “Strongest woman I know.”
Stallone married Flavin in May 1997, nearly 10 years after they met at a restaurant.
The Golden Globe winner was previously married to Sasha Czack from 1974 to 1985 and Brigitte Nielsen from 1985 to 1987. He and Czack shared sons Sage, who died in July 2012, and Seargeoh, 43.
Page Six has reached out to Stallone and Flavin’s reps for comment.
